Building our home was a delightful 116 day journey from the first day of clearing the lot until we were given the OK to move in. Prior to clearing the lot, Dave & I spent approximately 2 months finalizing our floorplans (I changed my mind like the wind), arranging financing, and selecting optoins. Our home was ready for us to move in on November 9, 2009. It's been nearly a year, and we are as pleased with our home today as the day we moved in!

Our Building Experience

This pictorial blog shares the milestones in building with Tomorrow's Homes, Inc. (completed November 2009). We had previously built 2 homes in Georgia with different contractors. This build was by far the best experience ever! Gib & LaVonne Crum, the owners, found creative ways to make our building dreams come true when we thought all hope was lost. They stepped us through every detail from choosing the best floorplan alternatives for our lifestyle to suggesting ideas for efficient living. Tomorrow's Homes has used the same subcontractors for many years on all of their homebuilds. This assures excellent communication between all parties and consistent quality from home-to-home. The building supervisor, Brad, was extremely attentive and went through each stage of the building process with his keen eye to assure that everything was as it should be.
