Building our home was a delightful 116 day journey from the first day of clearing the lot until we were given the OK to move in. Prior to clearing the lot, Dave & I spent approximately 2 months finalizing our floorplans (I changed my mind like the wind), arranging financing, and selecting optoins. Our home was ready for us to move in on November 9, 2009. It's been nearly a year, and we are as pleased with our home today as the day we moved in!

After the land was cleared, Brad (construction supervisor) and his foundation crew set about to mark the location of the house on the lot.

Our home is small--only 1125 sq. ft. But, it's just the right size for our retired lifestyle of doing as little housework and yardwork as possible!

Our home was ready for us to move in on November 9, 2009. It's been nearly a year, and we are as pleased with our home today as the day we moved in!
